There remains to be discussion surrounding definitions of what a submissive and a slave is.  Some say a submissive is an individual that is submissive but has freedoms with-in certain limits.  On the other end of the spectrum a slave is an individual with no-rights and is complete chattel to his/her owner.  But what about everything in between? 

I came across the following article that explains the nine levels of submission.  It’s useful and dead on, since everyone’s relationship is so different from the next.

Mistress has been very easy on me.  i’ve been free from my chastity device for almost five months, i haven’t beened caned or severerly punished.
